This April, Affinity Law’s Director Nicola Kitchener donned her running shoes and completed the London Marathon, raising a whopping £4,299 for charity.

Nicola took on the grueling 26.2 mile challenge in aid of Headway Derby, a local charity working to improve life after brain injury. The money raised will go towards providing support, advice and guidance to brain injury survivors and their loved ones across the county.

Nicola was joined by colleagues at Affinity Law as well as Headway Derby representatives who cheered her on along the way.

“Within my role as a serious and catastrophic injury solicitor, I see firsthand the devastating consequences of brain injury day in, day out,” said Nicola. “I wanted to do something to help the brain injury community, so raising money for Headway Derby seemed like the perfect choice!”

Nicola’s fundraising doesn’t stop there, and she – along with a number of other Affinity Law staff members – will be taking on challenges throughout the year to raise much needed funds for charities across the country.
